Yeovil Hospital goes Japanese

The Japanese equivalent of the BBC – NHK – has been filming this week in the radiology department of Yeovil District Hospital. This is for a programme which is similar to ‘Panorama’ in the UK. The film crew is in the process of producing a 90-minute piece on the healthcare crisis in Japan and has decided to visit Yeovil Hospital to find out more about the ways in which we have used excellent workforce planning to help reduce waiting times. The programme itself, ‘NHK Special’, is the company’s flagship documentary slot. It is an enormously popular series and goes out to over ten million viewers each week. read more
