Sam Faiers has revealed she would “love to do Strictly Come Dancing.”

The 24-year-old, who formerly starred in ITV reality show The Only Way Is Essex, said she would like to strut her stuff on the BBC dancefloor “someday”, adding that the opportunity would be “amazing”.

“It will be nice to get back on TV and get my personality across. People will see how much I’ve changed since Towie and how I’ve become a woman,” she said.

Sam, who took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2014, would be the second former Towie star to appear on the show after Mark Wright took part in the 2014 series.

Towie stars are no strangers to other reality shows as Joey Essex appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Lauren Goodger competed on Dancing On Ice and Dan Osborne went on Splash!

Sam, who left Towie in April 2014, was quick to show support for fellow star Dan, who is reportedly leaving the show after being suspended during the last series for aggressive behaviour towards ex-girlfriend, Megan Tomlinson.

“It’s a shame he’s leaving because he was a great character but he’s going to be very occupied on the family side anyway with his new baby and his son,” she said, adding: “He’s still got a fan base and he’ll always be eye candy.”

The reality TV star, who runs Essex-based clothes store Minnie’s Boutique with her sister Billie, has dished the dirt in her latest memoir, Secrets And Lies.

The autobiography tackles her relationship with ex-boyfriend Joey Essex, her departure from Towie and her experience on Celebrity Big Brother.

“The whole point of writing my book is that I literally got to say whatever I wanted and it’s all in my words. People will say that I’m airing out my dirty laundry but I needed to get my side across,” she explained.

Sam, who has criticised Joey’s tell-all book Being Reem, said she felt “he hadn’t really been very fair at all”.

This prompted her to write the second book because she “had to address everything else because it wasn’t fair (she) didn’t get a chance to respond”.
