RESULTS of the Chard Baptist Church Christmas Tree Festival have been announced.
Just two votes separated the top two entries in the adult section, but it was Chard Ladies Evening Guild’s handicraft group who took first prize and £50 for Breast Cancer Campaign after recording 68 votes.
Second were St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice with 66 votes.
Chard Baptist Church’s Toddler Group won the children’s section and £50 with 109 votes, while second was Manor Court Primary School with 70 votes and they received £25.
All the other charities will receive a share of the £300.72 donated.
Organisers would like to thank everyone for their support.
