TOP jazz man Bobby Wellins will be playing at the Ilminster Arts Centre on Friday, January 18, and will be joined by Nigel Price with the Craig Milverton Trio.

Bobby is probably one of the UKs best known jazzmen and is many-times winner of the National Jazz Awards. In 1998 an opinion poll of critics and readers of Jazz UK and Jazz Journall voted his Under Milk Wood with Stan Tracey the all-time favourite UK jazz record.

He will be playing at the centre with regular visitors the Craig Milverton Trio, plus top London based guitarist Nigel Price.

Nigel plays with in an extremely skilful, swinging style and is an up-and-coming world-class player, strongly influenced by Wes Montgomery and George Benson.

Tickets for the show on January 18, which starts at 8pm, are priced £15.
