Disapora at Warehouse Theatre

IRISH band Diaspora will be performing at the Warehouse Theatre in Ilminster on Saturday, March 16 – just in time for St Patrick’s Day!

The band has performed at the theatre a number of times in the past and has always received a rapturous welcome at what they describe as their favourite venue.

The word Diaspora comes from the Greek diaspora and means a scattering.

The word was applied amongst others to the Irish people scattered across the globe by the great famine of 1846.

Diaspora’s music represents a scattering of influences – predominantly Irish Folk and traditional music.

Tickets are priced £8.50 and £7.50 for concessions, plus £7 for children.
