THINK The Black Keys via beer-soaked Zambian mining town and that is Bite the Buffalo’s offering at Chard Guildhall next Saturday (December 21).
BtB Brothers Stons and Miti Goneos will present an intimate set of fuzz-riddled rock, fresh from supporting Robert Plant at the Royal Albert Hall and gracing the BBC’s Glastonbury stage this year.
Bluesy slide-guitarists Sam Green and the Midnight Heist are also on the line-up.
The eponymous Sam has spent six years working as a London session musician but is making his way back to his native Somerset for the show.
The event is staged courtesy of industry insiders Fiasco Events, organisers of last summer’s Forton Fiasco and the Pittball Festival in Thorncombe.
The gig runs from 8pm to midnight. Tickets priced £10 in advance are available from The Choughs Hotel, the Guildhall, Chard, and www.fiascoevents.co.uk They will be priced £15 on the door.
