TWO bands to catch while you can are staging a cutting-edge music night at the Guildhall in Chard on Saturday.

Bite The Buffalo, a band of brothers who promise ‘fuzz-riddled rock’, will top the bill at the venue fresh from supporting Robert Plant at the Royal Albert Hall.

Fans of The Black Keys ‘via beer-soaked Zambian mining town’ could enjoy Stons and Miti Goneos, who graced the BBC’s Glastonbury stage this year. It is rumoured this could be one of the last opportunities to experience an intimate set with the duo.

Progressive roots group Sam Green and the Midnight Heist are returning to their native Somerset for the show, bringing their blend of blues and rock ’n’ roll that speaks of home.

Industry insiders Fiasco Events are staging the night with the gig starting at 8pm.

Advance tickets priced £10 are available from The Choughs Hotel, the Guildhall, Chard, and www.fiascoevents.co.uk or cost £15 on the door.
