A CUBE Theatre show likened to “3D film without the glasses” by past audiences is on at South Petherton’s David Hall on Saturday.
In Freddy Dare & the Ginger Robber, schoolboy Fred Andrews is struggling to make friends at his new school, while his mum is mourning his dad’s death, but then he finds a mystery package at the bottom of a wardrobe and an unexpected visitor in the shed.
Will they give Fred the answers he needs or lead to his ultimate downfall?
With influences including Strictly Come Dancing, silent, award-winning film The Artist and the Scott Pilgrim films, the show has been dubbed a “striking” visual adventure with an original score.
Tickets cost £8 (£5 for under-18s) on 01460-240340, www.thedavidhall.org.uk or N&D News, South Petherton.
