SOMERSET writers have the chance to develop their work for stage thanks to the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre.

Scribblers are being invited to submit their scripts and excerpts, of no more than 20 pages in length or 20 mins performance time, for a scratch performance with audience feedback, as part of The Page is Printed Festival.

Scripts can be a whole play, a section of a longer play, or an excerpt from a work-in-progress.

Scripts will be read by a professional team, while selected playwrights will be awarded bursaries and the offer of the Tacchi-Morris facilities for the development.
