Ladies Day at the Races
LADIES (and gents) are invited to don their finery for Ladies Day at Taunton Racecourse next week.
The racing kicks off at 2.10pm on Thursday, April 3, at what is now a firm fixture on the racing calendar.
Top prizes will be given to the best dressed lady and best hat.
The gates open at noon at Orchard Portman, and those who book in advance online before 10am on Wednesday, April 2, can get up to 20% off.
A coach service will be available from Taunton Railway Station, leaving an hour before the first race, and returning from the racecourse 30 minutes after the start of the last race, via Castle Green bus station.
