THE dazzling wit of a theatre giant will be heard again at the Warehouse Theatre in Ilminster later this month in a top-notch one-man show.
Peter Gill will present a tribute to Noel Coward with an evening of song and satire on Friday, June 20.
The audience can expect a pick of his favourite Coward showpieces, including Don’t Let’s be Beastly to the Germans, Mrs Worthington, There are Bad Times Just around the Corner and Mad Dogs and Englishmen.
Coward, born in 1899, was a polymath – an actor, writer, composer, director, producer, and, in later life, painter – and he excelled at them all.
Tickets cost £11.50 and are available from the Warehouse on 07943-779880, Lanes Garden Shop in Ilminster or Taunton Ticket and Information Centre on 01823-336344.
The show on Friday, June 20, starts at 7.30pm.
