ROCK on the Green returns to North Taunton this weekend to give charities a lift with a day of music.
The one day festival was born in 1990 as a way to raise funds for local causes.
Twenty-three years on, the rock-out event, held every year on St Andrew’s Green come rain or shine, has raised almost £90,000 for the area.
Five bands feature on the bill, including electronic band FILTA, Loap, 100 Faces, Shack 42 and Ego.
There will also be a real ale bar, a barbecue, stalls, face painting and inflatables on site.
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £4 for children on the gate. They are also on sale in advance at the CrossKeys Inn in Silk Mills, The Grove on Kingston Road, Black Cat Records and The Wagon in Priorswood.
