TWO very different art exhibitions are underway at The Meeting House in Ilminster until the end of July.
Three friends have teamed up to present ‘Flowers, Fruit and Country Matters’, inspired by the hues and structure of plants, botanical painting, and the Somerset landscape.
Meanwhile, Paul Branson FRSA has completed a body of work chronicling the everyday workings of RNAS Yeovilton.
Paul has worked at the airbase since March 2010, and has achieved a ‘First’ as an Artist in Residence to a military establishment.
The exhibition has been christened a “must-see” for anyone connected with the armed forces. Opening times for both free art shows are 9.30am- 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and 9.30pm-2.30pm on Saturdays.
