“GUT-WRENCHINGLY honest” singer-songwriter, Vin Garbutt, has spent most of his 42 year-old musical career on the road.
On Friday (July 25) the much-loved artist is making a stop for a concert at The David Hall in South Petherton.
Hailing from Middlesborough, Vin is known for mixing a “brilliant comic patter” with gritty social commentary, a format known and loved in political music. He is also a “master whistler”.
“Vin is like a good wine, as he improves every time I see him,” says Pete Wheeler of the Petherton Arts Trust and The David Hall’s music man.
“Last with us in January 2013, Vin is one of the most respected singer/songwriters based in the UK.
“He is one of our most popular artistes who takes his audience on a journey of emotions.
“Another memorable night is guaranteed.”
The concert starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £13 (£12 for concessions). Call the David Hall on 01460-240340 or visit www.thedavidhall.org.uk online.
