PARENTS looking for ways to keep the kids occupied this summer can find lots going on at Ilminster Arts Centre.

The Meeting House is launching a crafty workshop series, with sessions running from 10am until noon.

They cost £6 each, with discounts available to siblings.

On Tuesday, August 5, there is a ‘Flying Bird Mobiles’ workshop, followed by a ‘Shoebox Diorama Day’ on Wednesday August 6, where youngsters will create a magical miniature world in a shoebox.

Kids can get messy making a monster from recycled materials in ‘The Monster Factory’ on Tuesday, August 12, with ‘Fantasy Castles’ to follow on Wednesday, August 13.

It’s ‘Crazy Clay Creatures’ day on Thursday, August 14, and you can make ‘Fun Bunting’ on Tuesday, August 19.

Design and create ‘Felt Finger Friends’ on Wednesday, August 20, with a ‘Clowns and Top Hats’-making session on Tuesday, August 26.

It’s then an ‘Under The Sea’- themed crafting day on Wednesday, August 27.
