AFTER the sell-out success of last year's musical 'Joseph' Broadway Amateur Theatrical Society have turned their talents to a new musical, loosely based on the family favourite pantomime 'Puss in Boots'.
The show asks the question "What's New Pussycat?" and features a long list of hits, interwoven into a magical story, from the likes of Madonna, Beyonce, Blondie, Nancy Sinatra, James Brown, Brenda lee, Roy Orbison, Cliff Richard, Andy Williams and, of course, Sir Tom Jones.
The young and energetic cast, supported by several BATS stalwarts, will sing and dance their way through many huge and popular hit songs of today and yesteryear and there is even a dancing camel.
The show, being staged at Broadway Village Hall, is being produced and directed by Carol Crane, with musical direction by Viv Cummings.
There are four performances from November 20-22 with curtain up at 7.30pm and a matinee performance on the Saturday, at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £6/3. To book your tickets call Carol on 01460-53968, Novahomes, Chard, on 01460-64111, visit Horton Village Post Office or call 01460-52684
