THE David Hall in South Petherton is set to be filled with the sound of American folk music and dance – and the audience can get involved too.
Buffalo Gals Stampede is a dance act made up of Buffalo Gals Old-Time Country String Band and their troupe of Appalachian flat-footing dancers.
Pete Wheeler, from the venue, said: “The Stampede is with us for the first time and whether you wish to listen or to dance there is no doubt you will love this band’s take on Old Time Country music.
“A workshop and a gig for £19 is an absolute bargain.”
Tap shoes or leather/ hard-soled flat shoes are ideal for those who want to dance, along with comfortable clothes.
Visit thedavidhall.org.uk for details or to book for the show on Saturday, March 7.
