LEGENDARY blues duo The Producers are playing the Square and Compass, near Ashill, on Saturday, August 8, as part of their long-awaited comeback tour.
Following a seven-year break, band members Dave Saunders and Harry Skinner have reformed with a new line-up and a re-energised sound.
The outfit was one of the most popular blues acts in the country before their split in 2002, winning the Blues Band of the Year award four times.
They have seven albums to their name, including ‘Ain’t no Love in the World’ which was nominated for a Best Blues Album award.
The Square and Compass gig will feature a mixture new songs and reworked stage favourites, with new members Ray Drury (piano) and Biff Smith (drums) joining the duo onstage.
The music starts at 9pm with doors open from 8pm and pre-booked food is available from 7pm.
Tickets are £10 in advance on 01823-480467 or £12 on the door.
