BEATLEMANIA is set to hit the Square and Compass, near Ashill, tonight as a top tribute band takes to the stage.

The Fab Beatles will be performing at the venue from 9pm.

The band won the BBC's battle of the fantasy bands and has appeared on countless TV shows and festivals.

Since forming in 1991, they have become one of the most sought-after Beatles tributes in the world, with concerts performed all over the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas – including the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool, made famous by the Fab Four themselves.

The show starts with early ‘Hamburg’ material and includes all the singles and album tracks, from the heady psychedelia of Sergeant Pepper to the musical maturity of Abbey Road and Let It Be.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets cost £12.50 in advance on 01823-480467 or £15 on the night.
