Welcome to the Sherborne Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) page which covers both the town centre and our surrounding rural communities.

The rural section covers various parish council areas:
Bishops Caundle, Bradford Abbas, Cam Vale (Holnest, Leweston, Lillington & Longburton), Chetnole & Stockwood, Folke, Alweston & Bishops Down, Holwell, Leigh, Queen Thorne (Nether Compton, Over Compton, Sandford Orcas & Trent), Thornhackett (Beer Hackett & Thornford), Yeo Head (Castleton, Goathill, Oborne & Poyntington) and Yetminster & Ryme Intrinseca.

The NPT work alongside partner agencies and the local community to ensure Sherborne remains a safe place to live, work and visit. Working in partnership means we can tackle the issues that most affect local people. Please see the Priorities section below for the priorities that we are currently working on.

We regularly update our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram - You can follow us using the links on the right hand side of this page). We also utilise Dorset Alert (See the foot of this page for details of how to sign up and see how we can keep you informed so you can help us keep your community safe).
