Fire crews rescue man trapped in car

FIRE crews from Yeovil rescued a man trapped in his car in the early hours of this morning (Friday).

Two fire engines and a rescue tender attended a collision, involving one vehicle, on the A37, near Ilchester, at 2.17am.

Crews used cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car and managed to free the casualty.
