FOUR people have been arrested following a protest by anti-nuclear campaigners outside Hinkley Point power station.
A spokesman for EDF Energy, which is behind B station and the proposed C plant, said ten demonstrators from Stop Hinkley turned up unannounced this morning.
The spokesman said four of the demonstrators lay across the road at Wick Moor Drove to stop Hinkley staff accessing the site, but they were later removed by police.
More than 20 police officers are understood to have attended the scene.
Police confirmed four people are in custody, having been arrested on suspicion of wilfully obstructing the highway.
