Couple to return home to Chard after blaze

AN elderly Chard couple will be returning home in the next few weeks after having to move away from the town due to a fire.
Mick and Nancy Matthews had to move out of the Ernest Ashman flats in Chard after a fire on September 8.
They have been living with relatives away from the area while their home has been renovated.
Mr and Mrs Matthews said: “We will be returning home in the next few weeks and are looking forward to seeing our neighbours again.”
