Girls' group needs leader

IT is feared the 1st Chard Rangers group may have to close unless it can find a leader.
The group, part of the Girl Guides movement, has 12 girls aged 14-17 with four more expected to join after Christmas. It is flexible and fits in with college and school work.
A spokesman said: “We meet once a fortnight in Chard and really enjoy having our ‘girl-only’ space.
“We enjoy doing lots of activities from crafts to debates but our favourite activity is cooking!”
A leader is needed as the present one is moving out of the area at Christmas.
