POLICE are on the hunt for car thieves after two vehicles were stolen from a commercial garage in Chard.
Sometime overnight on December 16-17 the two Vauxhall Vectras were taken from the unnamed garage.
On Wednesday (December 19) morning a silver Vectra was found just outside of Horton with its wheels removed, while later that day a blue Vectra was found in Ashill with its battery removed.
A police spokesman said: “Officers investigating this incident believe that at some point both of these cars would have been travelling together and we’d like to speak with anyone who saw them.”
Those with information are asked to call police on 101 quoting the crime reference number 135736/12.
