POLICE have released this photograph of a man they want to find following an armed robbery at a town centre store in Ilminster.
Officers have issued an appeal for witnesses and information following the incident at McColls in East Street, Ilminster, when a man entered the store and threatened staff with what police have described as a “bladed instrument.”
The incident happened at around 7am on Sunday, December 23, and the attacker made off with a quantity of cash.
A police spokesman said they would now like to speak to the man pictured, who has been described as white, under the age of 30 and wearing a dark Lonsdale hooded style jumper, dark trousers and black gloves. He also wore a mask across his face.
Anyone who may recognise the man or who has any information about the incident is asked to call Yeovil CID on 101 - quoting crime reference number 137843/12.
