Two car fires in one night
FIREFIGHTERS were called out twice last night to deal with car fires in Crewkerne.
The first incident took place just before 9pm in South Street where a car, parked next to a supermarket, was on fire.
A keyholder for the store was called out as the car was up against the wall of the building and an internal inspection of the property was carried out to make sure it was safe.
Then 90 minutes later at 10.45pm the Fire Service was called out again – this time to deal with a Rover car fire in Middle Path.
