£1,733 handed over to two charities

FUNDRASIERS have handed over cheques worth £1,733 to two organisations following a successful Mistletoe Fair at Lopen.
Richard Lupton, regional representative for Help for Heroes, and the Rev Julia Hicks, of Lopen Church and Schoolroom, each received £866.50.
The total raised during the event held before Christmas was a record amount.
