Car vandalised in Bruton

A CAR was damaged in the Burrowfield area of Bruton overnight January 27-28.
The car had a corrosive substance applied to every body panel causing considerable damage to the paint work.
PCSO Tim Russell said: “The owner of the vehicle involved is very upset that their vehicle has been damaged and is looking at repair costs running into thousands of pounds.
"Damaging vehicles is a thoughtless and cowardly act and the offender deserves to be caught.
"We are hoping for the assistance of the local community to supply information about the damage to the vehicle or if anyone has been seen acting in a suspicious manner around vehicles in the above area."
