Butcher's cheques for good causes

COMPLETE Meats in Chard has put a smile on the face of three groups thanks to the proceeds of a bi-annual prize draw.
Mark Urquhart, manager of the butchers in Fore Street, presented cheques for £50 each to Third Chard Rainbows, Chard Amateur Theatre Society and Tatworth Primary|School.
The Rainbows will put the money towards a trip to West Somerset Railway later this year; CATS is raising cash for a portable stage at Crowshute House; and the donation to Tatworth School will go to general school funds.
