BUDDING poet Catherine Hayton has won the village school’s annual poetry competition at Haselbury Plucknett.
She was delighted to win the Stevens Cup. The competition has now been held for four years at Haselbury Plucknett First School.
Head teacher Gill Evans said nearly 30 children took part.
