Tulips at Barrington

PUPILS from St Mary and St Peter’s Primary School were invited to help plant a new tree at Barrington Court.

The tulip tree will form part of an avenue that will replace a line of horse chestnut trees that became diseased and had to be cut down in 2009-10.

Head teacher Karen Brooker said: “I hope the children enjoyed taking part and they will return in years to come to see their tree and the others in the avenue grow and mature.”
