Museum benefits from quiz nights

CHAIRMAN of Chard Museum trustrees, David Ricketts received a cheque for £70 from Simon and Tracey Cooper of The Gallery Bistro and Restaurant in Holyrood Street, Chard.
The money was raised at January’s quiz nights held at The Gallery and brought the total raised overall from its quizzes held last year to £773.50.
Mr Ricketts said: “We are extremely grateful to The Gallery and its patrons for nominating the museum as a beneficial charity and for raising this enormous sum.
“The museum heavily depends upon local support such as this to survive and enable it to fulfil its public benefit responsibilities to the community.”
