Hallowe'en themed evening, Stocktoberfest, sure to thrill
4:00pm Thursday 17th October 2013 in News
A MICROBREWERY near Ilminster is hosting a Hallowe’en-themed real ale and cider festival next weekend.
Stocktoberfest will boast not only great local brews, but fine local food, too. A range of local producers will pack into Stocklinch Ales at Manor Farm to showcase and sell their wonderful culinary creations, from pies and sausages to bread and cakes, pickles, chutneys and cheeses.
There will also be plenty of cider and real ale to try before you buy, as well as a hog roast and local bands to keep visitors fully fed and entertained from Friday through to Sunday.
The proceeds from the festival will go to the equine charity Horseshoes and Handprints, which is based at Manor farm, and uses ponies in therapy sessions for individuals suffering from stress and those on the autistic spectrum.
There a still a few spaces left to fill at the festival, so if you would like to sell your wares on the day call Claire on 01460-259776.
A large table costs £10 and smaller tables cost £5. ]
