Assembly to be held to discuss South Somerset's economy

HEAR about how South Somerset’s economy is shaping up at a special assembly in Yeovil next week.
South Somerset Together, the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP), have invited a number of key note speakers along to the University Centre Yeovil to talk about how the district can attract investment.
The experts will also give an insight into the future prospects of town centre economies and the role of Local Enterprise Partnerships.
Cathy Bakewell, chairperson for South Somerset Together said: “It is very encouraging that so many leading figures are coming to this assembly to discuss South Somerset’s economy. A vibrant economy is essential for everyone who lives in the area.”
The event, which will start at 9am and run until 1pm, will be held on Wednesday, October 23.
