TWO people were arrested after police carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant at a property in Chard last week.
Officers forced entry at an address in Dominy Close on Thursday, November 28, where a quantity of heroin and cannabis was found.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug, namely heroin and has been recalled to prison.
A 23-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug, namely cannabis and received a cannabis warning.
This warrant was down to intelligence lead policing, and Chard police would urge anybody who has any intelligence in relation to drug-related crime to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555111.
