MEMBERS of Chard Camera Club have put their heads together to compile a selection of their favourite photos taken around the area this year.
The club, established more than 25 years ago, aims to promote photography at every level, welcoming people of all abilities to its Thursday night meetings at Chard Baptist Church.
Chairman James Brown said: “Although our member numbers have declined over the last few years we still attract between 25 and 30 members to our meetings.
“Our inspiration to take pictures is all around us and being in an area of outstanding natural beauty aids us in the choice of those pictures.
“Our members’ skills range from novice to the semi-pro and all are approachable for help and instruction.
“Indeed, we run instruction evenings and welcome all with an interest in photography.
“From wildlife to close-up, landscape to abstract, our club caters for all.”
