Have just driven through the most ferocious storm I can recall in over 30 years of driving that came out of nowhere & hit the M5 around Bridgwater. One minute light drizzle then suddenly a torrential downpour & an intense bright flash that lit up the sky, immediately followed by the loudest thunder I've ever heard directly overhead, so much so the shockwave vibrated right through the car. I kid you not!

    Take care out there guys.

I avoided it fortunately, but saw the aftermath on the A358 'twixt Ilminster and Taunton this morning - I certainly wouldn't have wanterd to drive through it.

    Take care indeed!

All you need to is add .uk after co on the link that was posted.

I did have a look. Too much detail, seems one or two are slightly bitter. Can't say I care though as there is dissention in any such institution and you always get the ones who try to change the world.

We have survived another Ebb & Flow this morning, without further incident, however with the approaching Storm and winds, thunder and Lightening predicted to hit us later this afternoon.
Then this will be the time to be alert and aware, as with already sodden ground, high River levels, and the rain still draining down the streams from the hills around us..................
Coincide with a high tide, and we will suffer, as others have already..........Thi
s combination is the Recipe for us to be flooded, where we previously have not been...........
Help your neighbours, and especially the Elderly and the Frail in our Community...
