A STUDENT from Stanchester Academy has won golds in athletics at the South West Indoor Championships.
Brett Harrison was crowned the South West of England Indoor Champion 2014, winning two gold medals in 60m and 200m in Cardiff.
He also won two trophies at his club awards night, joint best U17, U20 and senior track performance and also won most points awarded on track at Southern men’s league.
These achievements were particularly impressive as this was Brett’s first season competing in this league.
Adrian Reynolds, head of sport, said: "Brett’s successes are an impressive start to the New Year.
"We are extremely proud of his achievements and look forward to many more over the next year."
