Surely it's Liddell Grainger who should be resigning. How long has he been our MP and what has he done for us??? He only shows his face when there is a media opportunity. It is as much his fault for the state of our County as anyone elses. Some representative he is.

The real villain is begining to emerge,Chris Smith said yesterday they could not do anymore because the Treasury had stopped any further finance, now money is coming from everywhere including £10 Million from David Cameron via the very office that stopped the Enviro Dept, yes a full dredge will happen,so everyone needs to pin the real culprit and its in fact,DAVID CAMERON as Prime Minister, borne out by the interview a few minutes by Richard Benyon asacked enviro Minister.

Maybe if we had all voted for the Socialist Party none of this would have happened.
Just thought I would post that before the local Red Fred gets on here politicising the wet weather.

The SCC and the government neglect and indifference toward the Somerset levels should be criticised by everybody;I hope that this fiasco will not be forgotten at the ballot box in future years.
