TICKETS are still available for the Wurzels benefit show in aid of the Somerset Levels victims at the Palace Theatre, Bridgwater, on March 20.
Proceeds of the event, when Mad Dog Mcrea are the supporting act, will go to the Somerset Flood Relief Fund and The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution helping the communities and farmers in Somerset cut off for weeks by the floods.
Wurzel Tommy Banner, who lives in Taunton, said: “The resilience of the community down here has been Remarkable, but there is only so much these people can do for themselves.
“We hope this show will help aid and support their recovery over the coming months and help them to get back to normal as soon as possible.”
The Wurzels, their crew and management and Apr Media, Midnight Mango, The Palace Venue and The Bridgwater Carnival are all giving their services for free.
Tickets are £12.50 in advance via www.midnightmango.co.uk or 08444-771000.
Other donations can be made online.
