TENSION has mounted steadily over the weeks since we reported that two big-name celebrity concerts were to be held in aid of Somerset's flood victims.
Tonight (Thursday March 6), the organisers have announced the final line-up, and confirmed dates, for both shows.
Joining English indie-rock group, TOPLOADER, for two nights, are...
*DRUMROLL*
- Softcell synth-pop artist, and "Tainted Love" singer, MARC ALMOND, who will appear with his full, live band
- And AMELIA LILY, the pink-haired pop star who wowed audiences on The X Factor, and reached #2 in the Top 40 with her debut single
The three acts will also be joined by glam-pop group with Wiveliscombe roots, Fortunes (formerly Joywride).
The new concert dates are:
- Friday May 16, at the Blake Hall in Bridgwater
- And Saturday May 17 at Yeovil's Westland Leisure complex.
Tickets, £35, go on sale from 10am on Saturday, March 8 from the Blake Hall, Bridgwater music shop Strings 'N' Things, Yeovil's Westlands or www.seetickets.com
All profits generated by the concerts will go direct to Somerset Community Foundation & the Flooding on the Levels Action Group.
