A BRAVE teenager will have her hair shaved off to raise money for Epilepsy Purple Day.
Georgia Franklin, 17, of Chard, will lose her locks next Wednesday, March 26, when the clippers get to work at Hair Inspiration.
Georgia, left, decided to raise the money for the epilepsy awareness day because two of her friends at Richard Huish College in Taunton suffer from the condition.
This year’s national awareness event is encouraging people to have a purple edge, including purple face painting, a purple tea party or purple bake-off.
Georgia has already smashed her fundraising aim and raked in an impressive £244 so far.
