CHILDREN in the South-West play outside a third less than their mums and dads did in childhood, according to a survey.
Most parents surveyed told Co-operative Childcare that they spent their youth exploring outdoors, cycling and involved in playground-style games.
But they revealed their children spend less time taking part in these activities due to limited time and safety concerns.
