A CHICK hunt around Chard to increase footfall in the town over Easter proved a huge success, organisers say.
Ebony Powell won the hunt and received an Easter bunny for her efforts.
More than 100 youngsters entered the competition and each was given an Easter egg after completing the hunt.
Garry Shortland, from Chard Town Team, said some parents who took part with their children said they visited shops they did not know existed.
He added: βIt just shows if you hunt for what you want in Chard, you can find it.β
