RARE aerial photographs depicting parts of Somerset from the sky have been collated by English Heritage.
Website Britain from Above, launched by English Heritage, and the Royal Commissions on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland and Wales, chronicles some of the oldest and most valuable images from the Aerofilms Collection.
It is a unique and important archive of over one million aerial photographs taken across Britain between 1919 and 2006.
Here, we have picked out four landmarks from the South Somerset area.
