Chard and Ilminster area headed to the annual fourday annual show at the Royal Bath and West Showground last week.
Bob Isted, of Hermans Wells Herd of Pedigree Sussex Cattle, based at Hermans Wells Farm, of Folly Drove, Ashill, took a couple of his cattle which he co-owns with Bob Mann and were named reserve champion in the “any other native beef breed” category.
John Perry, of Perry’s Cider, of Dowlish Wake, received the Arthur Davies Cider Cup from orchard and cider chairman Anthony Gibson for classes of two bottles of cider and two identical bottles of cider.
