CRIME at this year’s Glastonbury Festival was about 20% down on last year, Avon and Somerset Police say.
Some 135,000 people attended the festival at Worthy Farm in Pilton and by Monday 242 crimes had been recorded.
About 250 police officers in three shifts patrolled on foot, bikes and horseback each day chatting to festival-goers and providing safety tips.
