Tatworth Primary School were thrilled when the composer of their summer show came to lead a workshop rehearsal.
Simon May, who is known for writing the Eastenders theme tune, helped children with final preparations for their show, Smike, based on the story of Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens.
Shows are at the school on Wednesday, July 16, at 6.30pm and then at the Guildhall in Chard on Thursday, July 17, and Saturday, July 19, at 2.30pm.
