South Petherton couple's gruelling cycle ride
A COUPLE from South Petherton have taken on a gruelling environmental awareness cycle ride, Pedal for a Pound.
Brian and Denise Herrick completed a 400-mile ride from Dijon in northern France to the Mediterranean in seven days and over the years they have clocked up an impressive 7,500 miles.
They ask that visitors to the Field of Dreams project recognise the need for environmental awareness and give an extra pound in the honesty box when they visit.
